Went to every location not a single beaver dam

Thanks a bunch. I've been looking all over for the oceanic oil rocks and when that didn't work, I flew to the polar region and was so pissed that there weren't any oil nodes. Didn't know they'd changed the whole look. Thanks again. 👏🤘🤙👍

I didn't read through all of the comments, but you don't have to kill the parent to claim the baby, or slightly older offspring. Tame the parent and then chases down the offspring to get close enough to claim it. If there are twins, which may not be the same age, you will have to get close enough to each one to claim each. You may also need cryopods to get the entire family back to your base and a cryorefrigerator to store them until needed (parent), or to raise (feed) the offspring. Without the cryorefrigerator you cannot get the new pets out of the cryopods unless on a server with the needed modification.

So dropping the eggs will not keep the wyverns from targeting you. Once you put the egg in your inventory that triggers the wyverns.
